Theola Bright is CEO of TC Bright Productions Ministry, Inc., a faith based, non-profit organization that uses the literary arts for community services.
THEOLA BRIGHT is a multi-talented artist from Mobile, Alabama who writes, recites, and delights her audiences with poetry, songs, and sometimes dance. She was known in Miami as “The Jazzy Poet. Her recitals are unique and often referred to as “Musical Lectures.” She is the recipient of The Katherine Drexel Society Literary Award and a former Artist-in-Residence for the State of Alabama.
THEOLA’s voice has been heard around the world as a poet and” On Air” radio personality and announcer with several international radio stations including WHIL 91.3FM in Mobile where she was an announcer of classical music and the producer of her own show, “The Jazz Connection.”. She is now the producer and host of “THINK ABOUT IT WITH THEOLA BRIGHT, a talk show that she uses poetry, music and the spoken word to address the issues of society.
“20 Years of Love” CD was listed on Australia’s ZFM Countrywide charts for more than 4 years as an all-time favorite. It is a compilation of Theola’s poetry set to various genres of music designed to reach out and touch the minds of the masses. These poems were taken from her book of the same title which actually took 20 years to write.
Her music videos are available on YouTube and her digital music downloads can be found at ReverbNation.com.
Theola is the author of three books of poetry, one teaching cookbook, and recently published her first novel, “A Circle of Love.”
She is presently in collaboration with, Child Evangelist Fellowship, Legacy 166, The Boys and Girls Club, Spoken Word of Mobile, and Heart and Soul Book Club and a member of Mobile Writer's Guild of The Mobile Public Library system.
